Since 1981 the "Stiftung Kreditwirtschaft" exists to sponsor the teaching and research at the Universität Hohenheim.

Currently there are 123 banks, other commercial enterprises, freelancers, scientists and private individuals who are sponsoring the "Stiftung Kreditwirtschaft".

Due to the high number of the Stiftung' s activities, it is supporting an education close to the reality at the Universität Hohenheim and it enables a close relationship between the praxis and the sciences.
