It is our pleasure to host the German Finance Association’s second Women-in-Finance Event at the annual meeting in Stuttgart-Hohenheim and we cordially invite all female finance researchers to participate.

This half-day event on Thursday, 28th September 2023, provides female finance researchers with the opportunity to meet, network, share common issues, and listen to inspiring experiences of accomplished female role models.

The event takes place on the premises of the BW-Bank, Kleiner Schlossplatz 11, 70173 Stuttgart.

The program offers a number of highlights including:

  • A presentation and rhetoric training with coach Katrin Seifarth
  • A keynote by Erin Hengel, Ph.D. (LSE, Brunel University)
  • A panel discussion with  Prof. Tabea Bucher-Koenen (ZEW, University of Mannheim), Anke Dembowski (Fondsfrauen), Erin Hengel, Ph.D. (LSE, Brunel University), Prof. Alexandra Niessen-Ruenzi (University of Mannheim), and Dr. Janine Rechel (Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall)

After a joint dinner, all participants are invited to visit the reception of the main conference.

The keynote will be open for all conference participants.
